Elections will be held under PM Deuba’s leadership: NC leader Yadav

KATHMANDU: Newly-elected Joint General Secretary of the ruling Nepali Congress (NC) Mahendra Yadav has asserted that the current government led by Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba will hold the elections.

Speaking at a program in Kathmandu on Wednesday, he said that the government led by Nepali Congress President Deuba would hold all elections, including the general election.

Stating that the ruling coalition will remain in power till the next election, he claimed that the main opposition CPN-UML will not win a single seat in the election.

“The next election will be held under PM Deuba’s leadership. We will go to the next election with the five-party alliance, and defeat the regression,” he said.

Yadav also said that PM Deuba would move forward by uniting all within the party.
