NA election: Candidates allowed to spend up to Rs 350,000



KATHMANDU: Candidates can spend spend up to Rs 350,000 in the National Assembly (NA) elections.

The Election Commission (EC) has said that the candidates will be allowed to spend Rs 350,000 rupees for the election scheduled for January 26.

According to the commission, the candidates can spend Rs 100,000 for interaction and seminar, Rs 70,000 for transportation Rs 70,000 for office operation among others.

Forty-three candidates from different parties have filed nominations for the 19 vacant posts.
