Two Chinese nationals injured in gang fight in Kathmandu



KATHMANDU: An alleged gang fight between two groups of Chinese nationals has got two people critically injured at the busy street of Indrachowk, Kathmandu on Sunday morning.

According to Kathmandu police, the incident occurred at around 11.30 am this morning.

According to police sources, as the dispute escalated between the two groups, 37-year-old Fong Changyun hit two of his friends with a sharp object.

Li Chuwan, 32, and Gan Saosing, 29, were taken to the National Trauma Center of Bir Hospital for immediate treatment.

Chuwan has a deep injury in his stomach whereas Sausing has injury in the stomach, chest and left side of the head. Both of them can not speak due to injury.

Fung Changyun, who threw a knife, has been nabbed by Kathmandu police.

Further investigation in the incident is underway,  the police said.
