EC will conduct credible elections: CEC Thapaliya

KATHMANDU: Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Dinesh Kumar Thapaliya has vowed to conduct credible elections to the House of Representatives and Provincial Assembly on November 20.

Thapaliya said that the election preparations had been expedited as the date for the voting for both elections had been fast approaching.

He also said that the printing of ballot papers had been completed and the stuff had been already transported to districts outside the Kathmandu Valley.

“The EC is committed to making the elections a success with the announcements of results as early as possible,” he said during a meeting with Vice President Nanda Bahadur Pun on Friday.
