KATHMANDU: Nepal recorded a total of 14 new cases of coronavirus in the past 24 hours as of Tuesday.
Of the confirmed cases, all 14 were detected through the RT-PCR method.
According to the Ministry of Health and Population, a total of 1,127 swab samples were tested in the past 24 hours.
Of them, 437 samples were tested through RT-PCR and 690 through the Antigen method.
Currently, there are 798 active cases in the country as 66 infected patients recovered in the past 24 hours.
No coronavirus-related death was recorded in the past 24 hours, and the COVID-19 death toll stands at 12,018 to date.
