Senior NC leader Poudel among those recommended from Tanahu-1 for HoR election



KATHMANDU: Nepali Congress (NC) senior leader Ramchandra Poudel has been recommended from the Tanahu constituency-1 to compete in the House of Representatives (HoR) election on behalf of the party.

A meeting of the NC Tanahu district executive committee today (Sunday) decided to recommend Paudel’s name for competing in the election from the Tanahu-1. The voting is taking place on coming November 20.

Similarly, party central member Govinda Bhattarai and Shankar Bhandari have been recommended from the constituency, according to NC district secretary Laxmi Bhakta Khanal.

Similarly, the names of Ramchandra Pokhrel, Meera Joshi and Yamuna Khadka have been recommended towards the proportional electoral system.

Likewise, Raghunath Poudel, Ashok Kumar Shrestha, Shesh Mohammed Hanif ( Gora Miyan), Sarita Gurugn, Laxmi Prasad Acharya, Haridutta Poudel, Dobate BK, Purna Bahadur Gurung, Sahadev Adhikari and Shankar Poudel have been recommended for the Province Assembly elections from the Tanahu constituency 1 (A).

The names of Dambar Bahadur Adhikari, Deepak Bhattarai, Ramchandra Adhikari and Arjun Adhikari have been nominated from the Tanahu 1 (B).

Similarly, the meetings recommends central members Pradeep Poudel and Dhruba Wagle and party district president Jeet Prakash Ale for the HoR election from the Tanahu-2.

Towards PA election, Pro Dr Krishna Prasad Gautam, Kisan Gurung, Shreeram Subedi, Hari Prasad Wagle, Cham Bahadur Thapa, Madhav Bhattarai, Dr Shesh Raman Neupane and Yam Bahadur Khand Thakuri have been recommended from the Tanahu 2 (A) towards the direct elections while Milan Ale, Chudamani Khanal, Mohan Giri, Durg Bahadur Rana, Indra Bahadur Ale and Jeevan Chand Thakuri have been recommended from the Tanahu 2 (B).
