Supreme Court to open full time on Friday



KATHMANDU: The Supreme Court service will be provided full hours on Friday as well.

The apex court has decided to work full time with the aim of implementing the action plan for reduction of outstanding cases.

The full court of the Supreme Court on July 6 had decided to provide full-time service with effect from August 5, Friday.

As of May 13, 2022, there were 4,819 cases pending in the court that have exceeded a period of five years.

Likewise, there are 17, 612 cases that have exceeded two years, according to Supreme Court spokesperson Bimal Paudel.
