Parbat DA decides to form nine-member-DCC



KUSHMA: The fifth District Assembly (DA) of Parbat organized today decided to form a nine-member District Coordination Committee (DCC).

A total of 14 newly elected people’s representatives— mayor, deputy mayor, chairpersons, and vice-chairpersons of seven local levels of the districts were present.

The assembly held under the chairmanship of senior most member, Mayor of Phalebas municipality, Gangadhar Tiwari, made 10-point decisions.

The assembly also expressed gratitude to all sides including the government, Election Commission, district-based election officers, security bodies, political parties and civil servants  for holding local-level election in peaceful, free and fair atmosphere manner.

It also decided to form a nine-member DCC. The assembly also decided to grant authority to the DCC to prioritize and categorize budget and programs and implement it.

Similarly, the assembly decided to make necessary coordination to effectively implement the standards related to stone, gravel and sand excavation.
