Girl dies after cooking gas cylinder explodes



TANAHUN: A girl died when a cooking gas cylinder exploded in Tanahu district on Saturday.

The deceased has been identified as a 12-year-old Shuvekshya KC Chhetri, daughter of Shiva Narayan Chhetri of Bhimad Municipality-9.

Deputy Superintendent of Police at the District Police Office, Yubraj Khadka, said that the girl died on the spot when the gas cylinder exploded all of sudden and caught fire.

The body has been sent to Damauli Hospital for postmortem, he added.
