Maoist Chairman Prachanda reaches Baluwatar to meet PM Deuba



KATHMANDU: Chairman of the CPN-Maoist Center Pushpa Kamal Dahal “Prachanda” held talks with Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba after the latter’s three-day-long India visit.

According to sources, Prachanda reached the Prime Minister’s official residence at 4:15 pm for a discussion that focussed on the upcoming local elections, among other issues.

The two leaders held talks for about 45 minutes.

The source claimed that the former Prime Minister Prachanda and incumbent Prime Minister Deuba discussed various issues including the political appointments and appointments of the ambassadors lying vacant in many countries.

The Maoist Center Chair has been urging Prime Minister Deuba to complete the political appointments in various positions before the election code of conduct becomes effective.
