NEPSE declines by 15.94 points Monday

KATHMANDU: The stock market also declined on Monday, the second trading day of the week.

NEPSE, which had declined by about 31 points on Sunday, has dropped by 15.94 points today and dropped to 2497.47 points.

With the continuation of the stock market downtrend, the shares of insurance, development banks and trade groups fell sharply as shares of all groups declined.

According to NEPSE sources, 34.29 million shares of 226 companies have been traded at a value of Rs 1.58 billion.

Emerging Nepal’s shares were most traded on the day. It had had the transaction of Rs 63.9 million were bought and sold the most.

Similarly, the shares of Karnali Development Bank and Prabhu Insurance fell more than four percent today.

Despite the decline in the overall market, the share of Rastra Utthan and NESDO Sambridhi Microfinance increased by 10 percent on Monday.
