Six fringe parties holding protest rally against MCC at Khulamanch



KATHMANDU: Six Communist parties, including the Netra Bikram Chand Biplav-led CPN (Maoist), are holding a mass meeting in the capital on Friday to protest the passage of the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC).

The Left parties, which have announced a phase-wise agitation after the MCC’s ratification from the parliament, are holding a mass meeting on Friday.

Before the mass meeting, separate rallies will be held from Maitighar, Kupandol, Tripureshwor and Durbar Marg.

Senior leader of the Unified Socialist Jhala Nath Khanal, leader of Maoist Center Narayan Kaji Shrestha and UML leader Bhim Rawal have been invited as guest speakers.
