EC calls for complaints on voter-list from today



KATHMANDU: The Election Commission (EC) has called for complaints if any on the voter-lit of the local level elections scheduled to be held on May 13 from today.

The EC has given a seven-day deadline for complaints if any under the name-list update program.

Organizing a press meet on Thursday, Shaligram Sharma Paudel, the spokesperson of the EC, said that the complaints can be lodged against the name-list if any within the next seven days starting Friday.

Under the voter-list update program, names can be rectified, complaints can be filed if anybody has included his/her name in the voter-list by using false details or if the voter’s name is included from more than one place.
