Two children drown in Narayani River



CHITWAN: Two children have drowned while swimming in the Narayani River. The incident took place on Thursday afternoon in the Narayani River at Bharatpur Metropolitan City-3.

According to the District Police Office, Chitwan, the deceased has been identified as Bidan Gautam, 10, of Bharatpur Metropolitan City-7.

The identity of another boy of around 11 to 12 years is yet to be ascertained.

The locals had rescued them and brought to Bharatpur Hospital but they died in the course of treatment.
