Hurricane takes lives of two students in Janakpur



JANAKPURDHAM: Two students have died in a hurricane in Dhanusha district on Friday.

According to SP Basanta Rajaure of Dhanusha Police, 8-year- old Pratima Kumari Sada and 7-year-old Abanda Sada were crushed to death when a tree fell on them in their school.

“When an eucalyptus tree that was in the premises of Fakirchanda Higher Secondary School in Sabaila Municipality-12 was felled by hurricane, two students died on the spot,” SP Rajaure said.

The rain accompanied by hurricane has disrupted life in Madhesh province.
