Three years ago, armed with a passionate team of journalists and other staff, we launched Khabarhub, a digital media.

Today, KhabarHub has completed three years, and has entered the fourth year. The support, affection, trust, and admiration we have received from our esteemed readers during all these years has enthused us further.

The last three years of our journey were exciting, and over these years, we have succeeded to reach out to the readers — inside and outside the country — to become Nepal’s one of the leading digital media, and build a strong community of writers, contributors, researchers, well-wishers, among others.

We feel that the lessons learned from our past three-year-long journey have given us the experience to create a more mature, more diverse, specialized, and distinct identity.

Khabarhub’s digital media journey is not a long one. Nevertheless, with the rise of digital media, the impact of the Coronavirus pandemic, and despite adverse conditions, we have remained steadfast and active in the ongoing journey.

I would like to take this opportunity to inform you that we have also launched Radio Candid 92.7 MHz from this year onwards in the face of adverse conditions.

We made it our priority to take risks despite adverse circumstances, and not allowing the efforts of all colleagues to diminish their role in performing their duties. We know that the test of journalism is when adversity strikes. We would also like to express our commitment to face any challenge efficiently.

I want to reiterate that liberal democracy, nationalism, human rights, pluralism and constitutionalism are the ideals, integrity and values of Khabarhub.

One of the major challenges we faced during this journey has been the relentless onslaught of cyber-attacks, but such irresponsible attacks have not only undermined our fearless journalistic resolve but have also strengthened our cyber security.

We are ready to face any adversity, problem, complexity and crisis and the unwavering journey will continue on that path. We would also like to express our belief that the steps of conservatism and prohibition will broaden the scope of our confidence, fairness, integrity, accountability and freedom of expression.

We express our commitment to making Khabarhub more refined, sophisticated, agile and powerful in the days to come. We have noticed that the pandemic of Covid-19 has increased the number of readers in online journalism and the dependence on the information. We are committed to maintaining our commitment despite challenges.

The only asset we’ve acquired so far is the readers’ credibility. We express our commitment to increasing our activism, speed and activism in the coming days as the readers feel. We would also like to assure you that the diversity in news and opinion and the continuity of factual journalism will continue to be more steadfast in the days to come.

We are indebted to you for making Khabarhub your information partner and we look forward to your continued support in the future.

Your invaluable advice, suggestions and criticism are always welcome as we continue to become a leading source of accurate news and information.

We want to take this moment to thank each one of you for your support, participation, and feedback.

Finally, on the occasion of the 3rd Anniversary, I would like to express my heartfelt best wishes to all our well-wishers, including the readers who are constantly inspiring us, the colleagues who are constantly working, the well-wishers who are encouraging, the writers who are spreading ideas, the experts participating in debates, advertisers and advertising agencies.

It is you, dear audiences, who have helped us to learn and grow.

Thank you.
