NC’s Dhanraj Gurung elected to HoR from Syangja-2



KATHMANDU: Nepali Congress (NC) leader Dhanraj Gurung has been elected as a member of the House of Representatives from Syangja Constituency-2.

Gurung garnered 31,466 votes, while his nearest competitor Padma Aryal of CPN-UML got 25,839, according to the election officer’s office.

Rastriya Swatantra Party candidate Tikaraj Gurung got 8,113 votes.

A total of 70,191 votes were cast in the constituency.

Aryal was elected from UML in 2074 BS from this constituency.
