Dhanraj Gurung’s victory ensured as 5,000 votes remain to be counted

WALING: The victory of Nepali Congress candidate for the House of Representatives member from Syangja-2 has been ensured with five thousand votes yet to be counted.

Gurung got 29,566 votes while counting 64, 954 votes out of 70,191 votes. His closest rival, CPN-UML candidate Padma Aryal, has received 23,591 votes.

NC candidate Gurung has been leading with nearly six thousand votes.

Gurung’s victory is assured as there are only 5,217 votes left to be counted.

Rastriya Swatantra Party’s candidate Tikaraj Gurung has got 7,756 votes in Syangja-2.
