NC’s Gurung retaining lead in Syangja-2



SYANGJA: Nepali Congress (NC) leader Dhanraj Gurung has maintained his lead in Syangja Constituency-2.

As of Saturday morning, Gurung garnered 23,681 votes, while CPN-UML’s Padma Kumari Aryal got 21,658 votes. Gurung is 2,023 votes ahead leader Aryal.

The counting of votes was halted here for 12 days after the UML-UML demanded a re-voting saying the poll was rigged.
