KATHMANDU: Newly appointed United States Ambassador to Nepal Dean R Thompson has paid a courtesy call on CPN UML Chairman KP oli later at the latter’s residence on Thursday.
The newly appointed envoy is settling into his new role by holding courtesy meetings with key politicians and bureaucrats in Nepal after his arrival.
Earlier this week, he called on Maoist Center Chair Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’, Finance Minister Janardan Sharma, Chief Secretary Shanker Das Bairagi and Chief of Army Staff Prabhuram Sharma, among others.
