Nepal sees 915 new coronavirus cases in past 24 hours



KATHMANDU: Nepal recorded a total of 915 new cases of coronavirus in the past 24 hours as of Wednesday.

Out of the confirmed cases, 590 were detected through the RT-PCR method and 325 through the Antigen method.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, a total of 6,002 swab samples were tested in the past 24 hours.

Of them, 3,091 samples were tested through RT-PCR and 2,911 through the Antigen method.

Currently, there are 5,433 active cases in the country as 301 infected patients recovered in the past 24 hours.

No death was recorded in the past 24 hours and COVID-19 death toll in the country stands at 11,968 to date.
