Kathmandu witnessing rainfall since early morning

KATHMANDU: Even though the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology said the weather would improve from today, Kathmandu is witnessing rainfall since early morning on Wednesday.

The Department has on Monday said that the country’s weather would improve from today as there is a possibility of the low pressure system moving towards India, weakening the monsoon.

Meanwhile, rainfall has been taking place at most of the places of the country since the past few days.

Likewise, rainfall has also been forecast at few places of Province 1, Madhes, Bagmati, Gandaki and Lumbini Provinces.

On Tuesday, the weather across the nation was generally to fully cloudy and light to moderate rainfall with thunderstorm and lightning likely to take place at many places of the country.
