UML’s Secretariat meeting underway in Kathmandu



KATHMANDU: The main opposition party CPN-UML’s Secretariat meeting is underway in the capital.

The meeting being held at the party’s central office, Chyasal is discussing strategy for the upcoming election, internal issues of the party and national politics, among others.

Meanwhile, the party has been demanding the resignation of Finance Minister Janardhan Sharma alleging him of manipulating tax rates in collusion with an unauthorized person a day before presenting the budget in the parliament.

The party has also been demanding the formation of a probe committee to investigate the issue.
