Nepal sees 32 new coronavirus cases in past 24 hours



KATHMANDU: Nepal recorded a total of 32 new cases of coronavirus in the past 24 hours as of Tuesday.

Out of the confirmed cases, 29 cases were detected through the RT-PCR method and three through the Antigen method.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, a total of 3,094 swab samples were tested in the past 24 hours. Of them, 1,504 samples were tested through RT-PCR and 1,590 through the Antigen method.

No one died due to coronavirus in the past 24 hours. The COVID-19 death toll in the country stands at 11,951 to date.

Currently, there are 217 active cases in the country as 23 infected patients recovered in the past 24 hours.
