NEPSE downtrend continues Sunday

Stock market declines by 30.89 points



KATHMANDU: On the first trading day of the week, the stock market fell by double digits Sunday.

On this day, the NEPSE index decreased by 30.89 points and stood at 2513.41 points.

The Sensitive Index has decreased by 6.44 points and stood at 469.03 points today.

A total of 32,053,816 shares of 225 companies have been bought and sold at a price of Rs 1.46 billion on this day.

The transaction amount also decreased along with the NEPSE indicator on Sunday. It has been traded 28, 113 times on this day.

The investors seemed attracted towards microfinance on this first trading day of the week.

The share price of Rashtra Utthan Microfinance has risen by 10 percent.

Similarly, the share price of Emerging Nepal Limited and NESDO Microfinance Sambriddhi Microfinance rose by 9.99 percent.

Investors of hydro-power sector turned the biggest loser today. The shares of United IDI Mardi RB Hydropower Ltd fell the most at 5.02 percent on Sunday.

Similarly, the share price of Surya Life Insurance Company Limited has declined by 5.01 percent.

Shares of Surya Life Insurance Company Limited traded at a maximum of Rs 97.251 million on Sunday.

Likewise, Siddhartha Insurance Limited  got the shares worth Rs 51,29,175 traded today.
