KATHMANDU: A petition has been filed by the Supreme Court (SC) seeking adjournment of the full hearing on the writ petition filed by CPN-UML Chairman KP Oli seeking termination of 14 former UML lawmakers, including Madhav Kumar Nepal.
An advocate representing 14 lawmakers has filed a petition seeking adjournment of the hearing in the bench of Justices Anil Kumar Sinha and Nahakul Subedi.
The full hearing of the writ petition filed by UML chairperson Oli in the Supreme Court was set to from today.
UML Chairman Oli had filed a case in the Supreme Court alleging that Speaker Agni Prasad Sapkota did not take any decision despite the UML sending letters of action against 14 lawmakers.
UML has been obstructing the meeting of the House of Representatives demanding action against the lawmakers.
