KATHMANDU: The CPN-UML is going to honor the elder and senior communist leaders of the country on April 22.
The felicitation program is being organized on the occasion of the Founding Day of the party. The decision was taken by a recent meeting of the UML Central Committee (CC).
Leaders who have contributed to various movements will also be honored on that day at every municipal level. The CPN was formed on Baisakh 9, 2006 BS under the leadership of late leader Pushpa Lal Shrestha. He was the founding general secretary of the Communist Party of Nepal.
