COVID-19: Three dead with 105 new cases

KATHMANDU: Three people have died of COVID-19 in the country in the past 24 hours. And an additional 105 people have been infected with the coronavirus, according to the Ministry of Health and Population.

During the period, PCR tests were performed on 2,448 people while antigen tests of 2,476 people were performed to confirm the latest number of infections. Also today, 320 corona virus-infected persons have recovered.

The number of active cases of COVID-19 stands at 7,517 in the country. Of them, 7,349 are in home isolation and 168 are in institutional isolation.

Among the COVID-19 patients, 61 are being treated in the ICU and nine are with the support of ventilator.

With the death of three in the last 24 hours, the death toll due to COVID-19 in Nepal has reached 11,943.
