Communist leader Chand meets UML leader Rawal



KATHMANDU: Nepal Communist Party General Secretary Netra Bikram Chand has held a meeting with CPN-UML leader Bhim Rawal.

Chand along with party Spokesperson Khadga Bahadur Bishwakarma ‘Prakanda’ reached Rawal’s residence in Tokha Thursday.

The Chand-led communist party has been protesting against the US grant Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC), which was recently ratified by the parliament, and General Secretary Chand has been holding meetings with like-minded leaders, who opposed MCC.

Spokersperson Prakanda said the political situation developed after the ratification of MCC was between Chand and Rawal.
