Media to make society dynamic: Minister Karki



KATHMANDU: Minister for Communications and Information Technology Gyanendra Bahadur Karki has said journalists can play an important role to make society dynamic.

Minister Karki, who is also the Spokesperson of the government, said it while receiving the report of the Working Journalists’ Minimum Wage Fixation Committee on media study report on working journalists, 2078.

The Committee also presented the recommendation on review of minimum wage of working journalists, and media employees and workers.

Receiving the reports, Minister Karki further assured that the reports and recommendation would be important documents and implemented gradually.

However, the recommendations could be implemented in cooperative manner, he added.
