CPN-US picks five candidates for NA polls



KATHMANDU: The CPN-Unified Socialist (CPN-US) has finalized five candidates for the National Assembly (NA).

The party was allocated five seats in NA polls during a meeting of the ruling coalition held in Baluwatar earlier Monday.

In line with the agreement, the CPN-US picked its five candidates in different provinces under different clusters.

The candidates are as follows:

Jayanti Rai from women’s category in Province 1;

Goma Timalsina (women’s category) in Bagmati Province;

Rajendra Laxmi Gaire (women’s category) in Lumbini Province;

Uday Bohora (open category) in Karnali Province and

Madan Kumari (Garima) Shah (women category) in Sudurpaschim Province.
