Maoist Center re-elects Prachanda as party chair



KATHMANDU: CPN-Maoist Center’s first Central Committee meeting held in Lalitpur on Monday has re-elected Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’  to the post of party Chairman.

The Central Committee meeting held in Lalitpur approved the proposal to make Prachanda the chairperson.

Leader Narayan Kaji Shrestha was the proponent and Krishna Bahadur Mahara was the supporter of the proposal to re-elect Prachanda as party Chair.

As soon as the meeting approved the proposal, the newly re-elected Chairman took the oath of office.
