Meeting of ruling alliance underway at Baluwatar

To pick candidates for NA poll



KATHMANDU: A meeting of the top leaders of ruling alliance is taking place at the Prime Minister’s official residence in Baluwatar at the coordination of Prime Minister and Nepali Congress (NC) President Sher Bahadur Deuba.

The meeting started at 9:15 this morning is holding discussions on election to the National Assembly Members and other issues, PM Deuba’s legal expert Keshav Raj Joshi said.

Top leaders of the Nepali Congress, CPN (Maoist Centre), CPN (Unified Socialist), Janata Samajwadi Party Nepal and Rastriya Janamorcha are attending the meeting.

The ruling parties have already forged a consensus to make an alliance in the National Assembly election. Election to 19 vacant posts of the National Assembly members is taking place on January 26.
