Ruling coalition meeting today to pick candidates for NA poll



KATHMANDU: A meeting of the ruling coalition is taking place today to select candidates for the National Assembly (NA) election.

The meeting will be held at the Prime Minister’s residence in Baluwatar this morning.

Earlier, an all-party meeting of the parties represented in the parliament, including the ruling coalition, was held on November 20. However, the main opposition CPN-UML remained did not attend the meeting.

The ruling coalition includes Nepali Congress, CPN (Maoist Center), CPN (Unified Socialist), Janata Samajwadi Party (JSP) and Rastriya Janamorcha.
