NC’s Gurung leads in Syangja-2



SYANGJA: Nepali Congress (NC) candidate Dhanraj Gurung for the House of Representatives (HoR) election from Syangja constituency no. 2 has maintained his lead in the vote count till this morning.

Gurung is ahead of his nearest rival CPN (UML) candidate Padma Kumari Aryal by 2,418 votes.

Gurung has obtained 11,920 votes while UML’s Aryal has got 9,502 votes.

Likewise, Tikraj Gurung of Rastriya Swatantra Party has secured 5,192 votes. Of the total 70,191 votes cast, slightly more than 28,000 votes have been counted so far in Syangja constituency no. 2. Vote counting for the HoR seat is ongoing.
