NEPSE increases by 7.32 points on Wednesday



KATHMANDU: The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) has retained its green trend and increased by 7.32 points to reach 19.38 points on Wednesday.

The NEPSE index, which has been on the rise since Monday, the first trading day after Tihar, is still in the same order today.

On the previous trading day (Tuesday), the NEPSE index rose by 56.10 points to close at 1930.97 points.

Earlier on Monday, NEPSE increased by 16.39 points.

Today, 43 lakh 46 thousand 708 shares of 227 companies were bought and sold for 1.46 billion rupees.

The sensitive index increased by 0.79 points to 382.94 points.

No company’s share price took a positive circuit today.

Shares of Corporate Development Bank and Karnali Development Bank rose by 8 percent.

Out of the 13 trading groups, the indices of 3 have decreased while the remaining 10 increased.

In terms of turnover, Shivam Cement remained at the top position today.
