JHAPA: Police arrested Chandra Bahadur Majhi, 23, of Kamal Rural Municipality-2 Mildangi for murdering his mother and uncle.
He murdered his 50-year-old mother Chandrakala, and 50-year-old uncle, Shanta Bahadur Majhi, with a khukuri, according to District Police Office, Jhapa.
According to the police, Chandra Bahadur killed them while they were sleeping.
Spokesperson of the District Police Office, Jhapa, Basanta Pathak, said that the police arrested Majhi while he was running away with a dog after murdering his mother and uncle.
The police said that he might have committed the murder due to a family dispute.
Police said further investigation is being carried out.
