NEB publishes Class 12 results

National Examination Board (NEB) has published the results of Class 12 today. The NEB Board Meeting held Friday evening formally decided to publish the result today.

According to Examination Controller Krishna Sharma, 3,63,008 examinees have passed the exam as regular students.

The examinations of Class 12 had been held from May 30 to June 8.

Government to facilitate for additional land for infrastructure development of Shankerdev Campus: PM Deuba

Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba pledged to provide additional land for the development of physical infrastructures in the Shanker Dev Campus in Kathmandu.

Inaugurating a newly built building of the Campus in place of the quake-ravaged building today, PM Deuba said that he will consult the Social Welfare Council and Ministry of Women, Children and Senior Citizen regarding the same.

Seat sharing among five parties almost finalized: Prachanda

Maoist Center Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal “Prachanda” has said that the seat-sharing among the five-ruling parties will be done in such a way that no party will be disappointed.

Prachanda, who reached Surkhet on Friday morning to address a program, said that the parties are close to an agreement on the allocation of seats for the November 20 elections to the House of Representatives and State Assembly.

Ruling coalition holding internal discussion on seat sharing

The ruling coalition has agreed to hold internal discussions within their respective parties for two days and then decide the seat allocation through a meeting of the task force and top leaders.

Dengue infection spreads to 72 districts

Dengue infection has spread to 72 districts of Nepal so far.

Infection has been confirmed in 2,728 people since January this year as of Wednesday, Dr. Gokarna Dahal, official at the Epidemiology and Disease Control Division said.

So far, dengue infection has spread to 72 districts, he said with Bagmati Province and Lumbini Province having the highest number of cases.

Nepal sees 206 new coronavirus cases, three deaths in past 24 hours

Nepal recorded a total of 206 new cases of coronavirus and three deaths in the past 24 hours as of Friday.

Of the confirmed cases, 134 were detected through the RT-PCR method and 72 through the Antigen method.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, a total of 2,869 swab samples were tested in the past 24 hours.
