Government should intervene in managing garbage: Gagan Thapa



KATHMANDU: General Secretary of Nepali Congress (NC), Gagan Thapa, has said the government should intervene in garbage management in Kathmandu Valley.

Stating that there has been “dirty politics” inside the Kathmandu Metropolis on the issue of garbage, Thapa said the government should play a vital role to manage Kathmandu’s waste.

Speaking at a program in Kathmandu, he also emphasized the need for the younger generation to come into active politics.
