As low pressure system moves towards India, weather likely to improve from Wednesday



KATHMANDU: Weather across the nation is likely to improve from coming Wednesday.

The weather would improve from Wednesday as there is a possibility of the low pressure system moving towards India, weakening the monsoon, said Meteorologist at the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology, Manju Basi.

Rainfall has been taking place at most of the places of the country since the past few days.

On Tuesday, the weather across the nation would remain generally to fully cloudy and light to moderate rainfall with thunderstorm and lightning likely to take place at many places of the country.

Likewise, heavy rainfall has been forecast at few places of Province 1, Madhes, Bagmati, Gandaki and Lumbini Provinces.

Light to moderate rain along with thunder storm and lightning has been taking place at some places of Province 1, Bagmati and Gandaki provinces as well as few places of the remaining provinces.

The weather across the nation would remain generally cloudy in the night and light to moderate rainfall with thunderstorm and lightning has been predicted at some place of hilly areas of the country and few places of the remaining areas.

Similarly, there is a possibility of heavy rainfall at few places of Province 1, Madhes, Bagmati and Gandaki Provinces.
