UML Chair Oli demands Agriculture Minister’s resignation

KATHMANDU: CPN-UML Chairperson KP Sharma Oli has demanded the resignation of Minister of Agriculture and Livestock Development Mahindra Ray Yadav.

Stating that a minister who could not give fertilizer to farmers during planting season was of no use, he said the minister should resign.

Speaking at a program organized by the party’s farmers’ organization, the All Nepal Federation of Farmers, in Kathmandu, on Saturday, Oli said, “What is the agriculture minister doing, he should resign immediately.”

Stating that the main job of the agriculture minister is to provide fertilizers and seeds, Chairman Oli said that he was not appointed as a minister just to wave the flag.
