Contribution of 100k to Journalist Welfare Fund



MAHOTTARI: The Matihani Municipality of Mahottari has contributed Rs. 100,000 to the Federation of Nepali Journalists, Madhes Province.

Chief of Matihani Municipality Hari Prasad Mandal handed over a cheque of Rs one hundred thousand to FNJ Madhes province President Rajesh Kumar Karna on Friday.

The FNJ Madhes Pradesh Committee has set up a Journalist Welfare Fund with the objective of assisting in the welfare of journalists and emergency medical treatment.

The municipality has included various programs for capacity building of media personnel in the policy and program and budget of the coming fiscal year 2022/23.
