Nepal’s Nivedita teaches yoga to kids in India’s Varanasi

KATHMANDU: A seven-day summer yoga and meditation camp was conducted at the RS World School Varanasi, India from 23-29, May in the presence of international instructors.

Dr. Nivedita Pradhan, a core teacher of Nepal Yoga Academy and Shiva Tattva Yoga School of Nepal, led the yoga camp along with her two team members Joan Jover from Spain and Oshika Shrestha from Nepal.

They taught yoga to hundreds of kids in Varanasi, India in an event organized to further strengthen the ties between Nepal and India.

The camp – dubbed as an example of cultural exchange between the two countries — was co-led by Ayush Jaiswal, Vice Chairperson of RS World School.

The two sides also exchanged souvenirs of Pashupatinath and Vishwanath summed up the event with the national anthems of both the countries.
