Local wind and low-pressure system of India likely to cause rainfall



KATHMANDU: Currently, Nepal is affected by local winds and low-pressure lines formed around the Indian State of Bihar and Uttar Pradesh.

The weather will remain partly to generally cloudy with chances of light to moderate rain amidst thunder and lightning in Province 1 and Madhes Pradesh.

In the rest of the country, the weather is generally fair.

On Thursday, the weather will be partly to moderately cloudy in the hilly areas of Province 1, Madhes, and other provinces and generally clear in the rest of the region. There is a possibility of light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning in one or two places in the hilly terrain of Province 1, Madhes, Bagmati, Gandaki, and the rest of the province.

On Friday, the weather will be generally clear with partial to moderate cloud cover in the hilly areas of the country including Province 1, and partial cloud cover in the rest of the country.

There is a possibility of light to moderate rain with thunderstorms in a few places in Province 1, Bagmati Province, and Gandaki Province and in one or two places in the rest of the provinces.

On Saturday, the weather will be generally clear with partial to moderate cloud cover in the hilly areas of the country including Province 1, and partial cloud cover in the rest of the country.
