Father and daughter killed in car-motorcycle collision



KATHMANDU: Two people have died in a car-motorcycle collision at Annapurna in the Kaski district.

The deceased have been identified as 45-year-old Jit Bahadur Pun and his 18-year-old daughter Sabina Pun.

Sabina died on the spot while her father died in the course of treatment at the hospital, said District Police Office, Kaski.

Meanwhile, the irate kin of the deceased have staged a sit-in at the District Police Office, Kaski, demanding due compensation and stringent action against the absconding driver.

The motorcycle, Ga 18 Pa 8191, coming to Pokhara had collided with a car, Ga 3 Cha 3525, coming from the opposite direction.
