NC includes 67 members in election campaign committee

KATHMANDU: Prime Minister and Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba has nominated members to the Central Election Campaign Committee for the upcoming Local Level Elections.

Chief Secretary Krishna Prasad Poudel shared that the committee headed by central member and spokesperson Dr Prakash Sharan Mahat has been given full shape as per the decision of the party’s central working committee.

Central members of the committee are Jipchiring Lama, Deepak Giri, Ajay Kumar Chaurasia Ambika Basnet, Pushpa Bhusal, Govind Bhattarai, Devendra Raj Kandel, Ramesh Lekhak, Sarita Prasain, Bahadur Singh (Lama) Tamang, Amrit Aryal, Ram Janam Chaudhary, Dr Gopal Dahit, Rama Koirala (Poudel), Krishna Kishor Ghimire, Dhruv Wagle, Dinesh Kumar Yadav, Tek Bahadur Gurung, Pradip Kumar Sunuwar, Chandra Bahadur KC, Man Bahadur Nepali, Abdul Sattar, Rajiv Dhungana, Govind Bahadur Shah, Rajendra Kumar KC and Umesh Shrestha.

Similarly, Central Members Rajiv Vikram Shah, Binod Kumar Chaudhary, Chandra Mohan Yadav, Maikulal Balmiki, Champadevi Khadka, Prakash Rasaili Snehi, Mohan Acharya, Javed Khatun Jaga, Nagina Yadav, Ajay Babu Siwakoti, Madan Krishna Shrestha, Gangalakshmi Awal, Dinesh Koirala, Urmila Nepal KC, Sushila Thing , Sushila Dhakal (Acharya), Ganesh Lama, Rupa BK, Bidyadevi Timilsina and Shanti Parivar BK have been nominated as members of the committee.

Apart from this, Presidents of all fraternal and well-wisher organizations of the party have been nominated as ex-officio members of the committee, according to the party office.
