At Dipendra’s century, Nepal set a target of 224 runs for Malaysia



KATHMANDU: Nepal has given a target of 224 runs to Malaysia in its fourth match of the triangular T20 International Series.

Nepal won the toss and elected to field in Saturday’s match being played at TU Cricket Ground, Kirtipur, Kathmandu.

After losing 5 wickets in the allotted 20 overs of the first innings and scoring 223 runs, Nepal gave a target of 224 runs to Malaysia.

Dipendra Singh Airee played the best innings of 110 runs for Nepal. Playing 57 balls, he struck six sixes and 10 fours.

Similarly, Rohit Poudel added 51 runs, Mohammad Adil added 14 runs and Ashif Sheikh added 18 runs for Nepal.

For Malaysia, Mohammad Wafiq, Pawan Deep Singh, Sajarul Idrus and Mohammad Amir took equal 1-1 wickets.
