Maoist Center leader Shrestha and Biplav hold talks



KATHMANDU: CPN (Maoist Center) leader Narayan Kaji Shrestha and general secretary of Nepal Communist Party (NCP) Netra Bikram Chand alias Biplav have held a meeting this morning.

NCP leader Biplav this morning reached Shrestha’s residence in Hattiban and called for a unity among the like-mined leaders on the issue of nationalism during the meeting.

The meeting between Shrestha and Bipalav took place at a time when leaders including Shrestha in the Maoist Center have been deeply divided over the issue of MCC.

Earlier, Maoist Center Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal alias Prachanda also met with Shrestha and urged him to lead the party in union.

Disgruntled Maoist Center leaders including Shrestha have intensified meetings after the MCC was ratified by the federal parliament.
