JHAPA: The police are yet to ascertain who is behind the explosive brought to Nepal under the guise of e-rickshaw battery on Tuesday.

Armed police had seized a large quantity of explosives from near the Nepal-India border on Tuesday.

At around 9 am, a 22-year-old man wearing black pants had come to Gairigaun of Kakarbhitta carrying a bag.

According to police, a man asked an e-rickshaw to take the goods to a hotel and put the goods in the e-rickshaw and left.

According to DSP Bhandari, 80 bags of commercial detonators and 91 Napolites were recovered during the search.
