KATHMANDU: Changan Auto, a top automobile company from China is set to launch its premium lifestyle pickup “HUNTER” in the Nepali market.
The company has stated Changan HUNTER as one of its major products that will rule the hearts of many Nepali customers.
The company is working on the pre-launch campaigns and has planned to launch HUNTER within January 2022.
Hunter is powered with a 1.9 Turbocharged Engine which has a displacement of 1910 CC and produces 150 HP power and 350 Nm Torque.
It has a wheelbase of 3910 MM and comes with a laden ground clearance of 230 MM, which is the best in the segment. All kinds of damages are avoided that may arise in the underbody and chassis. It has a gross weight of 3050 KG and can hold a payload of 1 Tonne.

HUNTER starts with a push of a button as it comes with the Engine Push Start Button. In addition to this, HUNTER comes with a cruise control feature.
Cruise control ensures consistent speed as per the road conditions. Also, the tire condition shall always be at the optimal point with the tire pressure monitoring system.
HUNTER comes with a 6-speed automatic transmission which means the gear changes automatically as per the road conditions. This is followed by the comfort, HUNTER brings with power-assisted seats for both driver and co-driver.
This premium lifestyle pickup ensures it takes proper care of you while you drive with an Electronic stability program. The customer won’t face any difficulty while driving uphill as it has an auto-stop climb function. It also has a Hill Descent Control so that descending downhill won’t be an issue.
